As a Lead Electrician at Lapp Electric, you’ll play a key role in leading and performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs across residential and commercial projects. You’ll work closely with customers, project managers, and our field team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the high standards our customers expect.

What You’ll Do
- Plan and perform electrical installations, maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades
- Lead and mentor electricians and apprentices on the job
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and safely
- Coordinate with customers, project managers, and field personnel
- Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with electrical codes and company standards
- Respond to scheduled service calls and occasional emergency service needs
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
- Build strong customer relationships through clear communication and professional service
- Lead by example while supporting the success of your team
What We’re Looking For
- Valid journeyperson or master electrician license, or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation, wiring, panel work, and system upgrades
- Experience with residential, commercial, and industrial electrical work
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with electrical maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise crews and train electricians and apprentices
- Familiarity with NEC and local electrical codes
- Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- High integrity with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
