Lapp Electric was founded in 1969 by Manny and Flossie Lapp.

Over the years, the industry evolved, and so did Lapp. As more and more new technology entered the market, Lapp constantly trained our technicians to keep up with the demands of the market and to, more importantly, provide better service for our customers.

In 2002, Manny and Flossie’s sons, Greg and Tim, took over the business, and they still run it today.

In 2004, Lapp Electric had the honor of being one of President Bush’s stops on his Presidential Campaign through Lancaster County. This event was a milestone in Lapp Electric history and something that everyone will always remember.

Want to find out more about President George W. Bush’s visit to Lapp Electric. Check out our July 2019 Blog post as we took a look a back at July 9, 2004.

In 2018, Lapp Electric was honored to be named the #22 Best Places to Work in PA (Small Business Category).
