Lapp Electric Turns 50 – Week 3 (Myers Chicken House, Snow Storm & Perseverance)

A lot of things have changed in the last 50 years. In 1969, there was a lot more farm land in Lancaster County and a lot less traffic.

Businesses have come and gone but one thing that has remained the same over the last 50 years is Lapp Electric’s commitment to providing superior customer service.

One of our early slogans was “No job too large or small” and this is something that we still live by today. It does not matter if you have a service call at your home or a large project at your business…Lapp Electric is here to help you out.

50 years in business is something to be celebrated and each week via social media we are going to be doing just that as 2019 marks 50 years in business for Lapp Electric.

Each week we are also going to summarize our social media posts on our Blog.

If you did not have a chance, be sure to check out our previous posts:

Work Site

For a company that averages over 2500 jobs a year, picking out 52 job sites may be a challenge, but we look forward to sharing with you some memorable jobs over the past 50 years.

Do you remember when Central Vacs were popular? Over the years we installed numerous Central Vac Systems in both homes and businesses.

The year was 1981 and we installed a Central Vac at Myers Chick House in Manheim.

52 Memories of 50 Years

In 2016, we renovated our office space.

As part of the renovation, we made some changes to the service coming into the building. In order to not interrupt daily operations at our office and the other tenants in the building, some of this work was performed on a Saturday.

In true Lapp Electric fashion, it happened to be snowing on the Saturday that this work was to be done but keeping with our #LappToTheRescue mentality, the work was completed despite the snow.

We are thankful for the technicians who were willing to work that weekend in the snow.
