Lapp Electric was not the only business founded in 1969 so this week we thought we would take a look at some restaurant chains that were founded in 1969.
Red Robin – The first restaurant opened in a 1,200 square foot building in Seattle. Ten years later in 1979, Red Robin became a franchise.
Cracker Barrel – In September 1969, the first Cracker Barrel opened in Lebanon, TN. By 1977, Cracker Barrel expanded to 13 stores.
Long John Silver’s – Jim Patterson founded the first Long John Silver’s in Lexington, KY in 1969 after “a vacation on the coast where he’d experienced a truly exceptional Fish and Chips meal.”
50 years in business is something to be celebrated and each week via social media we are going to be doing just that as 2019 marks 50 years in business for Lapp Electric.
Each week we are also going to summarize our social media posts on our Blog.
If you did not have a chance, be sure to check out last week’s post:

Work Site
For a company that averages over 2500 jobs a year, picking out 52 job sites may be a challenge, but we look forward to sharing with you some memorable jobs over the past 50 years.
Our 11th edition of #WorkSiteWednesday took us back to 2014 when we did work to repair a motor at a sewer plant.
We will let you figure out what is all around our technician!
We are thankful to all our technicians both past and present who are willing to work in any condition to provide superior service to our customers.
52 Memories of 50 Years
Van styles have changed over the years but one thing that has remained the same…the green stripe at the bottom of our vans!
For our memory this week, we took a look back at the different van styles over the years.
The top two pictures are some of our first vans and the bottom pictures are more current vans.
We are thankful for Ron Martin at Ron Martin Signs who has helped us out over the years “Lapperizing” our vehicles.
