50 years ago, the cost of living was a lot different than it is today.
In 1969, the average cost of a new home was $15,550 and the average monthly rent was $135. The average yearly income was $8,550 and the average cost of a new car was $3,270
50 years in business is something to be celebrated and each week via social media we are going to be doing just that as 2019 marks 50 years in business for Lapp Electric.

For a company that averages over 2500 jobs a year, picking out 52 job sites may be a challenge, but we look forward to sharing with you some memorable jobs over the past 50 years.
In 1996, Hospice of Lancaster County (now known as Hospice & Community Care) opened The Essa Flory Hospice Center on Good Drive in Lancaster.
Construction began in 1995 and we were honored to be a part of this special project.

For years, deep sea fishing trips were an annual occurrence for Lapp Electric employees, customers, vendors and friends. We have a lot of great memories of these trips.
