It has been said that “Tough times don’t last but tough teams do.”
Over the years, Lapp Electric has had some really good times, but we have also had our share of tough times.
We are grateful to our employees who have stuck with us during both the good times and the tough times because we know that the tough times are what make us stronger.
This past week one of our team members celebrated 33 years of service (some of our younger team members were not even born when this individual started at Lapp Electric). His comment when congratulated on his years of service was, “It’s a pleasure working for a company that actually cares about their employees.”
This same individual who celebrated 33 years of service also had a birthday this week and he said that the best birthday gift he received was starting at Lapp Electric 33 years ago.
Can you believe that we have another team member who has been at Lapp Electric longer than 33 years? This individual celebrated 36 years of service in January.
We also have an individual celebrating 31 years of service in August. Two team members celebrated in April, one with 26 years of service and one with 24 years of service. And two team members who will celebrate 27 years of service in 2019.
We could go on and on talking about the team members celebrating 15 years or 9 years or even 4 years, etc. But the point is still the same…Lapp Electric’s success has to do with our team members who pull together in both the good times and the tough times.
We are looking forward to continuing to celebrate our 50-year history in the remaining weeks of the year, but more importantly we are looking forward to September when we will be holding our company picnic and 50th anniversary celebration.
Without our team members, both past, present and even our future team members, none of this would be possible.

Leadership Lancaster has a mission of developing outstanding community leadership to support the needs of Lancaster County and one of the ways they do this is through their Core Program.
Lapp Electric has been a supporter of Leadership Lancaster for many years and several Lapp Electric team members have been through the Core Program.

Businesses are always looking for ways to save money and become more energy efficient.
One of the ways they are doing this is through lighting upgrades.
In more recent years, LED lighting has gained a lot of popularity.
Lapp Electric has been blessed to help so many companies with both interior and exterior lighting upgrades.
In 2015 we were honored to be a part of this exterior lighting upgrade a Stadel Volvo.
